The portrait
The Midfield General
Deep red and historic white
Every great team has a player the others look to when the game gets ugly. For nearly a decade, that was him: long stride, longer reach, and a refusal to lose a tackle he'd decided was his.
The portrait leans into that stature. Shoulders squared, chin up, the kind of pose that happens a second before a surge through midfield. Pure silhouette, pure intent.
From the artist
I combined a fascination with pointillism and negative space to create illustrations that could be hung proudly on any style-conscious wall. Limited edition art prints of your sporting idols at reasonable prices.
